Welcome to stageandscreamdesign.com. My name is Jeff DiLorenzo.
I’ve been designing and building scenery, set pieces, and props since 2004. I started by supporting a local haunted attraction, Wicked Woods in Glen Burnie, Maryland, which I went on to run for about 10 years. Wicked Woods was a fundraiser for Monsignor Slade Catholic School and I started volunteering to help build scenery and props for the middle school stage performances. As my daughter moved on to The Catholic High School of Baltimore, I continued to offer my skills to the theatrical performances there. I built a number of pieces for a Broadneck Elementary School performance as well. In a more professional environment, I was able to help the Ballet Theatre of Maryland with some set pieces they needed and managed props for the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre.
Stageandscreamdesign.com is a place where I can showcase not only the finished products of my efforts, but also the not-so-pretty work-in-process. Visit my Portfolio page to see some of my work or check out the Blog section for a little peek behind the curtain.
Please feel free to comment or ask questions about the various projects. I’m happy to share my love of design and construction of scenery, set pieces, and props.
