Pipe Organ

This pipe organ was an addition to the Wicked Woods.  It gave us an opportunity to have a cool Pepper’s Ghost illusion in the trail.  It wasn’t scary, but there were a lot of positive comments on the effect.  I found an interesting pipe organ model online and used that as inspiration.  The bulk of the pipe organ is mostly plywood and I know the color looks horrible in daylight, but under show lighting, it worked great.  A lot of people thought the keyboard was real, but it was just a painted board with individually cut black keys (the spaces between the white keys are just black lines drawn with a Sharpie).  The pipes are PVC with pipe organ-like slots cut into them.  The pipes were mounted in a separate rack behind the organ which made it easier to transport and move the entire thing.  The illusion was topped off with a white jacketed and top hatted organist who appeared to be missing his head.
